I have moved to Barcelona, Spain!! After 12 wonderful and productive years in the US, first at MIT and then at Microsoft Research, Redmond , my family and I have decided to move back to Europe. At the end of November 2007, I started my new job as Scientific Director of Multimedia at Telefonica R&D (TID) in Barcelona. We are very excited about our new life in Spain, closer to the family and our roots.

My return to Spain and the creation of the scientific teams at the Barcelona lab have caught the attention of the press. It is really great to be able to do top research in my home country.

I am hiring! I have job openings in the areas of Sensed-Based Interaction, 3D, Recommendation Systems, Multimedia, Mobile Computing and HCI. I also have intern openings in all those areas all year long.
